Education and career

1988 – 1990 Budapest Decoration School

Here I began to work with plastic forms and mannequins and experimented with different elements in my work.

1992 – 1997 Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest (MOME)

My diploma was in textile design, I spent two years in Tuscany, Italy, as a textile designer, during this time I began to study the great Renaissance Italian painters.

2000 – present

Since leaving university, I have worked for an art and fashion company in Budapest. I created my own company, Art Active, and organized fashion shows. I made paintings, illustrations and designs on commission and exhibited my work throughout Hungary.

In the past few years my work has been inspired by my travels in Mallorca: the colours, the sea, the landscape, the sense of antiquity and of classical civilisation.

In the past 20 years, since leaving the University of Fine Arts, my direction in life has changed. At first, I wanted to do everything. Maybe too much. I loved fashion, textile design, decoration, photography, and fine art. But I now realize that the things that really matter most to me come from my childhood. They are painting and drawing.

We value peace and happiness only when we see them disappear. Everything is fragile. My most recent work expresses this realization and what is truly inside me. After a long period of illness, I recognized that I have to do what is right for me. This is what makes me happy. This is my world. This is my game.

Life is the biggest game of all.
